MBNA Rewards

MBNA provides different cards that allow you to earn MBNA Rewards. MBNA has an informal rule called the "5/6 rule." This means that if you have had more than five new credit inquiries from TransUnion in the last six months, your current application is likely to be rejected. However, apart from this rule, MBNA does not impose any other restrictions on receiving a WB.

You cannot transfer MBNA Rewards points between different users. Each credit card has its own rewards account.

You can use your MBNA Rewards points at a fixed value of 1 CPP towards travel purchases by booking through their portal. If you want to cash out your MBNA Rewards points, you can use the refundable car trick. Here's how it works: Find a car rental from an agency that allows you to cancel the booking directly through them. After making the booking through MBNA Rewards, MBNA will apply a statement credit to your account 72 hours before the booking, giving you a small window to contact the rental agency and cancel the booking. This will result in a refund to your account. It's important to remember that if you cancel your booking through MBNA Rewards, your points will be refunded instead of cash. Additionally, make sure to be aware of the cancellation windows of the rental agency and any applicable fees.

You cannot convert MBNA Rewards points to any other loyalty program.

Your MBNA Rewards points will not expire as long as your account remains open and in good standing.
